i bought this to hang over a chair in my 6 years old nephew's room. He loves it! I decorated the entire room jungle like to include a 9 foot long stuffed snake.... and this canopy is his favortie part. I think he really feels like this is his secret place, his mini man cave I guess. The only negative was that the ties at the top are not a perfect fit so its slightly uneven. Would bother me if it was my room, but for a kid it is great.
